Certain Victory is a Christian, guitar-based Rock band based in Houston, Texas. We want to bring full and innovative arrangements into worship. We believe that music itself, even without lyrics, can be praise, so we are not another Christian band where the instruments are there to accompany the singer. Expect powerful riffs, melodic accompaniments, and screaming guitar solos in our music.

News:

Due to scheduling conflicts, Greg is stepping back from the band. We'll miss him greatly, but we also need to stay true to our calling, and so we are looking for a new bassist. We also wouldn't mind a rhythm guitarist. If you are interested in auditioning, please click here for details.

Creed:

We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. We believe a bunch of other stuff too. It is our faith that drives this band, so unless you understand our statements here, you will not fully understand our music.

Story:

Founder Paul Lytle was an unwilling partner in creating Certain Victory. Like Jonah, he tried to resist when God called upon him to create this band. Luckily, he was convinced before he had to be swallowed by a fish.
